Dr Goran Devedžić
is professor at Faculty of Engineering, University of Kragujevac, Serbia. His
research interests focus on the advanced product and process development,
industrial and medical application of soft computing techniques, and
bioengineering. Two major axes of research within the research interests are
(elastic) geometrical modeling of anatomic structures and web-oriented
non-invasive diagnostic methods in orthopedics and rehabilitation. He has
participated in and managed several national and international research
projects, as well as 4 Tempus and 2 WUS Austria projects. Among them he has
managed “Development of Software Solutions in Internet/Intranet Environment for
Integrated Product and Process Development” and "Ontological Modeling in
Bioengineering" and for “Application of Biomedical Engineering in Preclinical
and Clinical Practice” he is Team Leader (Bioengineering, Bioinformatics &
Biomechanics). He is also Country Coordinator for “Investigation of the
uncertainty associated with the scanning of parts with free-form surfaces in CAD
/ CAM processing”, Funded by Conselho Nacional de Desen volvimento Científico e
Tecnológico (CNPq), Brazil. He is reviewer for several scientific journals
indexed by Thomson Reuters (ISI) Web of Knowledge and the member of the
Editorial Board of the international journal of Computer Science and Informatiom
Systems – ComSIS. Recently he guest-editored two issues of the international
journal of Computer Science and Informatiom Systems – ComSIS: Information
Technologies in Medicine and Rehabilitation – Part 1 and Part 2. He has
authored/co-authored more than 100 research papers, published in international
and national journals or presented at international and national conferences, as
well as three books on CAD/CAM technology and 3D product modeling, and edits
upcoming book on Bioengineering of Scoliosis..

Dr Danijela Milošević,
is associate professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak, University
of Kragujevac, Serbia. She holds a PhD in Computer Science and her research
interests include ontologies, knowledge representation, intelligent tutoring
systems, user modeling and bioengineering. Author/co-author of over 70 research
papers, two textbooks, and has been actively involved in a number of research
projects addressing e-Learning tools and technologies, adaptive instructional
design and development of user model ontologies. She is a member of IEEE

Dr Branko Ristić is associate professor at Faculty of Medicine, University of
Kragujevac, Serbia. His research interests include hip and knee arthroplasty,
hip fractures and bioengineering of skeletal system. He is the author/co-author
of more than 100 research papers and six chapters in books of orthopedics and
bioengineering. He was actively involved in several research projects addressing
bioengineering and total hip and total knee arthroplasty. He is a member of the
Presidency of the Serbian Orthopedics and Traumatology Association, member of
American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeon, and member of the editorial board of the
Medical Journal Kragujevac. Currently he is chief of Orthopedics department at
Clinical Center Kragujevac and president of The Regional Medical Chamber for
Central and Western Serbia.

Dr Tanja Zečević Luković is docent at Faculty of Medicine, University of Kragujevac, Serbia. Her interest research include
musculo-skeletal disorders and bioengineering of skeletal system. She is
autor/co-autor of more than 50 research papers. She was actively involved in
several projects, three (of them) addresing bioengineering of skeletal system.
She is a member of Serbian Physiotherapy Assotiation. Currently she is chief of
Posttraumatic Department at Clinic of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, at
Clinical Center Kragujevac, Serbia.

Mr. Vanja Luković, is assistant
at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak, University of Kragujevac, Serbia. She received the B.Sc. degree at
Faculty of Technical Sciences in 2000.
At the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade she defended her master's
thesis entitled "Comparative Analysis of visualization system with
implementation of the algorithms of dynamic data structures" by
dr. Jelica Protic and received Masters degree in electrical engineering - the
field of architecture and organization of computer systems and networks.
Since
2008.
she has been employed at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak as an
assistant in the field of computer science.
In the same institution she is currently engaged in a research project of the
Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, "Application of
biomedical engineering in preclinical and clinical practice (III - 41007 )".
She
is currently working on writing a doctoral thesis in the field of
ontological-based information systems.
The primary areas of her interests include development and evaluation of
biomedical ontologies, object- oriented programming, design of information and
intelligent systems.
She is author of 20 scientific and expert papers.

Saša Ćuković,
was born in Serbia, Kragujevac on March 4th, 1983. He received the B.Sc. degree at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Kragujevac, Serbia in 2008. He is currently PhD student at the same institution within the CIRPIS (Center for Integrated Product and Process Development and Intelligent Systems) center.
He was scholarship holder of Ministry of Education, Science and Technological
development of Republic of Serbia, DAAD grant holder at Technical University of
Munich (Campar Lab), and OeAD grant holder at Technical University of Graz
(Biomech Lab) and Medical University of Vienna (Allgemeines Krankenhaus der
Stadt Wien - AKH). His main research interests include CAD/CAM/CAE systems and computer graphics, 3D reconstruction of bone structures from x-rays and point clouds, noninvasive 3D reconstruction, visualization and modeling of spine deformities in adolescents to better assist diagnosis, therapy and evaluation.
